TRAINING COURSE: WINTER REFRESHER
ABOUT THE COURSE
A 10 days long professional development program for trainers, youth workers, educators to professionally deep-dive into the field of experience-based and outdoor education in winter settings. The participants gain hands on experience through “learning by doing” and discover the wilderness as a classroom for personal and professional growth Furthermore, they have the chance to develop their hard- and soft skills related to outdoor and non-formal education supporting youth.

NEU CITIZENSHIP PROJECT
ABOUT THE PROJECT
nEU Citizenship is an Erasmus KA1 Project which focuses on activating Greek youth to become civically engaged and serve as multipliers of European priorities and the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on local, national, and regional levels.
PROJECT DETAILS
Below are further details about the project in which Alexandra Giannimelou participated.

5-day training which highlight the intersection of civic engagement & sustainable development and offer participants skills to act. the material will be tested through focus groups (athens & digitally) prior to implementation. participants’ feedback throughout the training will be incorporated to improve future versions, which other csos will be able to adapt to their programmes. participants will gain hard and soft skills including teamwork, public speaking, project management & active citizenship. the training will last 5 days (8 hours/ per day). it will consist of targeted workshops with breakout sessions and group work to enable collaboration. feedback surveys will be distributed to evaluate & improve the activities. Dorida’s leadership has already identified and offered a venue.

The working language of the project was Greek.
